APICS Individual Awards
The Student and Voluntary Service Awards honor members who demonstrate deep commitment to volunteering in the chapter and community. The recipients are announced each year, recognized at the APICS International Conference and Exposition, and are profiled in APICS magazine and on the APICS Web site.
The society's top volunteer selection is based on contributions to the local chapter, leadership in other professional societies, and community service. In addition, students are evaluated on contributions to the parent chapter, region, or the society, while member applications include contributions to APICS or APICS committees. All APICS members are eligible.

Marrone has incorporated many elements of the APICS body of knowledge into the core curriculum for Farmingdale State University of New York’s bachelor of science program in management technology, and he has mentored more than 100 student internships relating to APICS topics.
