Supply chains are becoming longer, more complex and global. The APICS “Certified Supply Chain Professional” (CSCP) certification helps you expand your Supply Chain knowledge beyond your company walls and pursue more strategic and global positions by exposing you to the best practices and the latest Supply Chain concepts. Julie Jenson shares her experience with CSCP, how Pfizer has made the CSCP program available to employees around the world, and how the knowledge has made a difference in her evolving assignments in Pfizer and APICS.

About the Speaker

Julie JensonJulie Jenson is Senior Manager, Global Manufacturing Strategic Projects for Pfizer Inc. Established Products, and is currently based out of New York City. She is responsible for launching in-licensed products, working with third party manufacturers in Asia, and Pfizer’s internal network to ensure products are manufactured, delivered and available to meet commercial targets. Julie spent two years helping to establish Pfizer’s Asia Contract Manufacturing group in Singapore, responsible for Supply Chain transfers and local training.

During her 9 years at Pfizer, Julie has held various positions in Supply and Demand Planning, Project Management, and Contract Manufacturing. She began her Pfizer career at the Kalamazoo MI production site and has spent time in New York NY, Terre Haute IN, Barceloneta PR, Singapore, and a special assignment in Indonesia. Before Pfizer, Julie spent a year with Deloitte and Touche Solutions.

Ms Jenson holds a BA in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University. She is APICS certified and has taught internally at Pfizer and contributed to the 2010 CSCP curriculum.
